Sigh
I had no idea this would be the exact case in this scenario but it makes sense.
Guess you are going to a place you know to get her fixed up?
Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA)
To help prevent collisions at intersections, FCTA is meant to detect forward cross-traffic vehicles. It uses forward direction radar and is the first in the world to alert drivers of the oncoming vehicle’s direction. Alerts are displayed using the LS’s HUD, and should the driver ignore this message, warnings are also issued by a buzzer and the LS’s multi-information display.Celebrating Lexus & Toyota from Around the Globe
Hope it gets fixed for you guys soon!
What do you think?

PROS:
1. Better fuel economy than the RX by about 15% under same conditions.
2. Boxy rear cargo area gives more flexibility with certain bulky items.
3. Triple-sealed side glass. Explains the very near RX-like quiet ride.
4. Easy ingress/egress (feels a touch taller than the RX)
5. Good initial suspension impact absorption (17" high profile tires help)
CONS:
1. Cheap plastics: A little heat from the sun and the center stack creaks upon the slightest touch. Creaking overhead console seems to have come from a Grand Caravan.
2. Poor Fit: Uneven exterior panel gaps, misaligned interior console trim, etc.
3. The 3.6L Pentastar V6 gets a little coarse at higher RPMs.
4. Cheap hollow metallic door-slam sound
5. Power/acceleration/responsiveness not as good as the RX.
6. Seat padding thin and beginning to show signs of lobsided wear.
7. Ride motions are bouncy at higher speed on uneven pavement. RX's AVS shows the difference here in controlling body motions.
I had no idea this would be the exact case in this scenario but it makes sense.
Also yesterday was trying to back out of a parking space and my RX kept slamming on the brakes because it noticed movement from other vehicles. I knew they were there but there was room for me to pull out but it kept slamming on the brakes! It was funny to watch.

SHOCKING even as I'm writing this.
REPAIR COST all in incl taxes, $29K. Not a typo. $29,000 !!

Had to validate some of the parts myself and indeed, parts are costly and make up most of the cost. $4K just for one headlamp!
And this is all just cosmetic, no structural damage. WOW!
