Roof rack for 2017 base model RX350?

I found the answer to my own question. I'm posting this to help people who are in my place.
You CANNOT install flush rails (not cross bars) on the 2017 RX 350 that's without a moonroof or panoramic roof. Lexus has not provided pre-drilled holes for the installation. I found this out by personally pulling up the rubber strip on the roof, so I'm absolutely certain about this.
In the meantime, lets see what the dealer does about this. I need the roof rack because I surf.

Yep - the base models are w/out sunroof and w/out roof racks. They are not common but out there.

I specifically looked for a Base without a sunroof, as I don't like "a hole in my roof"! But, couldn't find one without it that I liked. Mine came with the Premium Package which includes, among other things, "Aluminum Roof Rails". It's not a roof rack, just bright trim, so I consider it an appearance item.

2020 lexus rx 350 roof rail install
Hi,
I owned 2020 lexus rx350 f sport serie 1 without sunroof or glass roof , i try to install rail roof to a my rx ,I find out roof do not have pre- hole to install it ,I just install rail but not plan to install the cross bar or load any heavy stuff on it ,any body have any idea or know how to get material and install it ,

Seek recommendation for 2021RX350 roof rails
Hi Everyone,
I need to pick up a full size box spring and realize that it has to go to the roof top, as it doesn't fit inside of the car...
I don't currently has roof rails installed. Seems like Amazon has some options under $200. Do anyone has some purchasing and installation experience? Anything recommended?
I have a 2021 RX 350. I talked to the dealer, they have rails for 200+ and installation is 200+ as well.

I used to think Lowes/HD would only rent you a truck to move only things you bought from them. A few years ago, I found out you could just walk in and rent the truck to haul anything. Much cheaper than a car rental place.
