Thanks for the descriptors of what your better half had to do...Now, does it work automatically or do you have to fiddle with it each time?
It works automatically once it's set. As I approach an interchange it gives my a list of them, each one with mileage to the off ramp. It pops up on the right and disappears when there isn't an off ramp for a while.
I feel your frustration to make it work. My description is so bad cause I am not sure how I did it. But it did start with my wife playing with it as we drove. She moved the mouse over to the ramp on the map and boom up it came. The grey boxes don't work even when in park. Dealer can't figure it out either...and that was the guy to go to for nav problems.
Anyway it works how I want it to, showing off ramps. Wife likes it more than I do cause she never knows where we are, Non driver

Mine has it too. But I think it gives me too much information. If my route is to get off on exit 10, why giving me exit information beyond that exit?
I like to know which exit has let's say a gas station. It may be only at the other exit? Far fetched but possible!
I thought about that. Maybe it's just me, but when I have a route planned, I always stick to the route especially in those unfamiliar areas. Yes, empty gas tank will make me go off my planned route. But according to a post here, when the gas tank is near empty, our RX will automatically route us to the nearest gas station.

As long as it does not take control of the wheel....
