Default Now the Nav??

As if I haven't had enough trouble from the gurgling air conditioning to the TWO newly installed brake boosters................now my nav screen is acting up. Twice the entire thing has locked up to where you can't use it at all. You can't even use the radio via the manual buttons. Can't turn it off or control it from the steering wheel either. The entire system radio/climate/nav is locked out. The only thing that helped was turning the car off and back on. Any one else?

I would take a video next time it happened and get it to the dealer for repair/reprogramming.

Sounds like it needs a firmware update. I'd check with your dealer. My IS had these kinds of issues until they fixed it with a firmware update.

When this happens, you should be able to force a system reset by holding the power/volume **** down for a few seconds. This avoids having to shut off and restart the car to get it to reset.

Instead of switching off the ignition, try pressing and holding the power button. It should reboot/reset the system.
