hi guys, special thanks to Eric at best sonic for giving me discounts and clear instruction on the install.

I installed the dvd in motion a few weeks ago and saw recently they released the iPhone mirroring so I decided to take the project on. Removing the radio and side panel is quite easy and not as hard as you think.

Any reason you chose the mirroring over the apple car play kit they also sell?


or is that not yet available?

I would rather not be using my iphone while driving and get a ticket.

 

The car play is not out for our vehicle yet. They estimate it be ready next year sometimes

 

That and navigation while in motion would interest me vs just mirroring.
But I get how cool it is.

Android auto for Lexus would also be a great option.

 

The kit for the iPhone mirroring comes with the DVD in motion. I just purchased two thing separately since it came out different time..so you get two in one now if you decide to do it =)

 

Any one had upgraded wifi or phone mirroring to factory screen?. Did the navigation and dvd bypass, now want to go phone wifi or mirroring to factory screen.....
