I always wanted this color for the RX. It looks great on the NX. Gives it a sleek and poppin look as well as is very rare to find. WHenever I see this on an NX or an IS I just can't turn away! Only offered in Japan starting 2018 lol. By that time they have to have upgraded the model anyways. THIS is why you lease people.. lol
Take solace in the fact that blue paint stains and acquires permanent marks/stains that no form of detailing, polishing etc can remove. I learned my lesson owning a blue car. Maybe that really bright blue might hold up better?
Gawd Yes! Sups excited to read this.. .thanks for sharing. I just made a similar comment on a color thread without seeing this... I got to drive a spanking new RC 350 F Sport for an entire month with this color due to delays with my special order. After that I was in love. I would had totally ordered my RX in this exclusive F Sport UltraSonic Blue instead . They make it in every F Sport model. I don't know why they went with that Dark Nightfall Mica instead on the RX.

Probably because Ultra Sonic Blue is quite a loud, sporty color and doesn't fit the personality of the RX. The RX is more of a luxury, comfy cruiser (even the F-sport model) and target audience tends to be older, which appreciate classier looks like Nightfall Mica. USBlue is offered on the NX and IS which are targeted at younger people (as reflected in price).

If you like dark navy blue, that's cool. But I totally disagree... . UltraSonic blue is also offered in the GS and RC as well. Mind you, the GS is one of Lexus' nicest luxury vehicles with a $60K+ price tag and the RC closely follows. Thus, to be specific, they should had offered it in new RX F Sport-- which is no longer grandma's wagon at least in looks. Ultrasonic blue is exclusive to the F Sport Line and has nothing to do with price restricted younger buyers. It does target those of us that appreciate vibrant head turning color in their lives.
