More of a gimmick than anything

 

None for us last December on a 2016 RXh. I can't remember if it even had the ribbon.

 

But many dealers will deal in late December to clear inventory and boost annual sales. Some brands more than others but large market Lexus dealer would be your best chance. Many small market dealers have exclusive territory with limited competition and never discount much.

My recollection from a few years ago was that there were special financing rates, increased residuals on leases, some customer loyalty cash, and some dealer incentive money. It depends on the model in most cases.

I bought my GS last year on this promotion.

As I recall December to Remember really only included Lexus paying my first lease payment. There was a $5k rebate on the GS at the time, but I don't think that was a part of DTR, but specific to the GS model year end clearance.
