For those who had this repair completed under warranty, were you "forced" to pay for an alignment? Mine was leaking 2 inch diameter amount overnight and I had to take it in. I was informed that since they had to drop the engine and other major parts an alignment was non-negotiable. There was no way I would reject a $5000 warranty covered repaired over saving a $200 alignment so I was pressured into paying.

Since the warranty request was submitted and subsequently approved by Toyota prior to the work wouldn't any repairs and calibrations associated with this repair be covered?

Didn’t have to pay anything when they fixed my timing cover leak.
