Default Koonlung K1S camera question

Hello,

I have the K1S camera system and have 95% installed it... the cameras are installed, the wires are run, I have found the fusebox under the dash (quite a pain honestly). Currently I am using the cig lighter for my power supply as I am unsure which fuse to hardwire/piggyback to? and what size fuse to install for the camera system? Problem with using the cig lighter, we have a hybrid and when you come to a stop light it automatically shuts the system down. Any help on this will be appreciated.

Thank You!

Does the system say how much amperage it required? I can not imagine it would be a lot and would keep the fuse rating as low as possible.

Thank you for the reply, amazingly it does not, since it plugs into the cig lighter I doubt it is much also but, I can be OCD about things like this and I dont want to mess anything up?

Amperage ar 12volts can be quite dangerous. I had a friend who's car burnt to the ground because a short while charging a phone while she was shopping.

Depending on your wire gauge I would keep it at 1amp or less. Have not looked at the fuse box but a spare should be available. You can buy connectors that fit the terminal in the fuse box.
