Default Cup Holder diameter measurement

Hoping to fit a Starbucks Venti (20 oz) mug in the 4th Gen RX.

The Venti size coffee cup bottom diameter I have is approx 3.20 to 3.25 Inches.
Can an owner confirm what diameter the front cup holder diameter in inches?
Maybe its not a deal breaker... but it does look like a questionable fit from the photos.

Thank you

Best way is to get an empty venti cup and test it in a dealer.

Perfect. By your measure... I believe it more than fits. Easily.
We won't talk about my 6S+ and the phone holder. ;- )
I'll bring it to the dealer on the next trip.

Fear not. Venti's and even supersized drinks fit comfortably in the cupholders. It's worth mentioning that the first cupholder can sink down, to give a better grip on tall, skinny drinks, and both cupholders have little spring-loaded grabbies to hold onto smaller cups.

For the iPhone 6S+, use the big tray in front of the cupholders (where the wireless Qi charger is, if you have that), rather than the little cubbyhole by the glove box. That is a cute cubbyhole, but useless for phone, even if it fits, because, well, it's covered Unless you have a permanent phone tethered to the car via bluetooth, I guess.

I posted the picture with the front cup well pushed down, approx 4.5 inches.
When in the raised position it is the same as the fixed rear at about 3.0 inches
