Default Wheel torque specs?

Trying to put on the wheel locks and can't seem to find wheel torque specs. In owners manual, page 653 it says "have the wheel nuts tightened with a torque wrench of 76 ft lbs. However, they're referring to the spare donut.

So, not sure if spare donut has same torque specs as the regular wheel.

Also, anyone know what size socket i need for the lug nuts. I know my 13/16" socket will work, but i'm sure the lugnuts are Metric and the wheel lock doesn't work with a 13/16" socket..... I don't have any metric sockets big enough so i need to go buy one

I just installed <a href="http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEXUS-OEM-FACTORY-WHEEL-LOCK-SET-2016-RX350-RX450H-/331753594401" target="_blank">these wheel locks</a> on my 4RX 350 this morning using the lug wrench that came with the car. The wrench is 13/16".

wheels locks are not meant to be torqued the same as wheel nuts. just make them littler tighter then snug. I work at a car dealership, the mechanics don't torque wheel locks like the regular nuts.

Nope, you are wrong. McGard, the manufacturer of the wheel locks on my last 17 years of Lexus', says:

"Using the McGard key and a wrench, tighten each lock to the torque specified in your vehicle owner’s manual. For best results, use a torque wrench and socket."

You might wish to inform your dealership's mechanics and service managers.

The car is designed to have 5 lug nuts torqued at 76 lb.ft in order to withstand the side loads in turns and other situations.

If you do not torque one then you are cutting that safety factor and risk snapping lug nuts.

You MUST torque all 5 lug nuts.

I usually have Discount Tires rotate my tires every 5k miles. Last time, I took my car in for rotation at 10k miles and asked them to install the wheel lock nuts. They did it for free for obvious reasons.

Should be 76 ft lbs, but to be sure you can check section 8.1 in your owners manual.
