Default Alignment or no alignment

Have a new RX350 for the last 2 months and wondering how accurate
the current wheel alignment is. The RX seems very sensitive to steer
and a little more difficult to keep in a straight line. Was thinking of going
to an alignment shop to check. Then I was wondering if the local shops
even have the alignment specs. yet. Any thoughts.

They most likely will not have the alignment specs. My poor 1 month old 2016 RX was involved in a collision (no fault of my own), and even the Lexus Certified Collision Center didn't have the alignment specs and had to call Lexus Corporate.

If you feel the alignment was off from day 1, bring it in Lexus will fix it under warranty. I had an alignment issue on my '13 RX F Sport and dealer fixed it.

My dealer checks the alignment every time I bring it in for service. The only complaint I have is the they never find your vehicle out of alignment until AFTER your first two FREE service visits. Then it is out of alignment and the charge you $200 to fix it on the 3rd service.

Probably takes them more time to put the car on the alignment rack and connect all the equipment than it is to actually tweak the alignment itself...

What size rims do you have? Tire brand? Have you checked the pressure? Dealer may have overinflated them If the pressure checks out, bring it in to the dealer like corrado mentioned. Alignment is covered under warranty for 1 year or 12,000 miles. Good luck.

Thanks all, our dealer is a good 2 hours away but we may have to make
the trip. The dealer tire pressure was at 37 and I took it down to 34.
It came with the Michelin tires. I may wait for the first scheduled service
and have them check it.
