I believe in wearing seat belts but I dislike having to hear that annoying
bell when I don't use them for a reason. Like when I have to turn around
in my seat to back up or maneuver in tight spots.
I tried various techniques from the internet trying to shut that bell off using
the ODO switch and passenger seat belt with out any luck. They all seem
to apply to 2015 and earlier. The dealer could probably do it but that is a
3 hour ride for me. Has anyone come up with a way to shut that bell off.

I would be willing to bet that the dealer will not disconnect the seat belt chime. Their attorneys would be very unhappy with them doing that.

Yup Carista app is a must if you own any Lexus or Toyota vehicle. Just turned my belt chime off and windows to roll down when press and hold unlock button for 6 seconds. The best app i ever downloaded!
