I don't think the German brands offer anything exciting in terms of paint colour. They don't have a single colour in their range which can match Eminent White, atomic silver, ultrasonic blue Mica 2.0, Molten pearl or Infrared. My personal favourite is riviera red on the GS and Eminent White pearl
BMW took out mineral white pearl but it can't even match starfire pearl, let alone have a patch at Eminent White. 5 stage paints are awesome!

I had a Starfire Pearl ES350 and now have a Mineral White Metallic BMW. They are virtually the same. Both very nice. IMO
I love my BMW mineral (metallic) white. Second choice was going to be Mineral Silver which has an subtle cashmere brown effect going on.
I've seen the 2016 Lexus F-Sport Alpine White in person, but I prefer the Eminent White.
Eminent White, also known as Sonic Quartz, is indeed one of the most exquisite colours from Lexus.
The F-Sport Alpine White is an interesting colour. In normal dealership lighting, the flakes are subtle and you really have to get very close to the paint to see it. So it looks like almost normal white most of the time.
However, under more intense white LEDs such as those in auto shows, the flakes pop up nicely. It took me quite a while to have the chance to see it in proper lighting where the colour shines.
