Sorry for this being such a noob question, but I couldn't come up with anything in the search. I'm looking for an RX for my wife and for the longest time we couldn't decide on a color we liked. Until we saw a white one with a silver bottom instead of tan. Is this a special option, or just from a particular year? How can I find one of these?

 

The bottom of the 01-03's (with the clear and red taillights) is a purer silver than the 99-00's, which had a more of silvery beige color on the cladding.

 

I just bought a used 2001 that's white with the silver bottom. It is beautiful! I didn't want the pearl color because it looks "dirty" to me. (No offense to anyone with the pearl RX.) Tell your wife I agree with her!

Pearl gets dirty?

The whiter the car here, the cleaner it stays. My black RX needs to get washed almost every day, thank god for corporate perks.

 

No, I said that pearl LOOKS dirty, not that it gets dirty. All cars get dirty and the darker they are, the worse it is. I had a dark green Camry. Looks great the first day, dirty the next. I'm hoping with my new white one, I don't have to wash it as much as I did the green.
