Here is the latest mod for the F-sport shift ****. Most new car has this type of crystal like shift **** nowaday. An easy 5 min job without led light though.
I give it 6 months before it starts to fade and yellow. Only volvo has crystal shift *****, must be a chinese thing. I personally dont understand it or like it.

I installed it back in May of 2024! BTW, no fade or discolor yet. Volvo is owned by the Chinese! So they are all Chinese, like it or not. Next time you visit China, try hop in one of their EVs and comment what you will find, especially those made by BYD or Huawei, even Toyota has a $15k EV made in China now. You snooze you lose. I recall people were laughing at Toyota & Honda back in the 70's. Now we are all driving Toyota's and Tesla exported their Chinese made Model 3 & Y to Europe & Taiwan for a few years already. My grandkids will be driving Chinese made EVs in the future most likely. Most of our profits derived from Chinese made products/America design like Apple & Tesla.

Theres a big difference in chinese quality over japanese quality. Idc about the cheap things because they simply dont last, china is not known for quality. Now an american company like tesla exploiting's chinese cheap labor is different. They are upheld to tesla's quality not their own to make it as cheap/lowest passable quality. I'll spend the 60-80k for a lexus that I know will go 200k with minor issues. Just like how this **** on the provided link is made so cheaply using subpar materials while the real deal is hand blown glass.
Why add somthing that is obviously a fake that makes the whole interior now look cheap? Might as well through a wing on the rx and put neon lights on the rims while your at it. But to each their own its not my car just my opinion.
I got a loaner from the dealer the other day and the new 2024 or 2025 RX350 looks really cheap inside with fake dark wood at the center console & everywhere else.
It seems like you are still stuck with the old "made in China" stuff, well time will tell whether you are right or not. Like I said, get a rental when you visit China & you will be surprised. Like you, My family has been driving Japanese since the 80's but Lexus did have her quality problems lately. My 2017 RX450h just reached 59k miles & had no air at both the driver side vents, see link below. The stealer wanted $3440 to fix that AC servo motor at the driver side! Go figure. Say bye to Japanese quality.
Another nice looking mod with real leather boot & stick **** for the GS F-sport. OEM stick **** & boot are all synthetic fake stuff. I am wondering if it fit the RX's stick ****.
