I would like to help you out but the search function in this forum is the worst I have ever experienced in 35 years of computing.

Same here. Commands work but the voice to text for responding to a text message on my 2020 RX450h is not working. It does not recognize what I said. I have an iPhone 12 Pro. All available Lexus subscriptions are up to date. Has anyone contacted Lexus?

My 21 Tundra is doing the same thing as our 23 GX. I’m not sure if it’s a “Toyota or Lexus “ issue or an “iPhone” issue.
If this was solved before, it would be great if someone could let us know What needs done to correct it.

Does anyone with an Android phone have this issue? This way we will know who to contact with this issue.

I have a Google Pixel 7 Pro running Android 15. Although I do not use the built-in Lexus functionality on my 2020 RX, I did test it for this post and it did not work correctly. Here's what I tried:
* Placed a call by using a short press of the Phone button and saying, "Call xxxx". This worked fine; my voice command was interpreted correctly and the call was placed.
* Tried to respond to an inbound text message. I got the voice prompt, but after speaking my reply the infotainment screen said something to the effect of, "The voice to text service is not functioning." I think this is consistent with the problem reported in this thread.

I have the Enform Remote and Safety Connect subscriptions active. The wireless (with adapter) Android Auto functionality, which I use exclusively, still works fine, including voice-to-text. The problem with the built-in stuff looks to be on the Lexus/Toyota side, as it fails on both iOS and Android.

Looks like Toyota is aware of this issue.

Update:
Typically I only drive my truck on the weekends and my wife only drives the GX a couple days out of the week. Occasionally it is more often.
Last Friday I took my wife to dinner in my truck and we tried to respond to a text by using the dictation and all worked like normal.
We then took her GX out all day Saturday and it also worked like normal.
I have no idea weather the Vehicles updated or the phones did, but whatever happened, fixed the issue.
