Just purchased a 2022 RX 450h and the Lexus Website says it has wireless Apple Car Play but I cannot seem to figure out how to set it up. Any advice
Apple Carplay (and Android Auto) was introduced in the RX350 in 2020. Model years 2020-2022 have WIRED carplay. Starting with model year 2023, wireless carplay is standard. I, personally, use a wireless carplay adapter in my 2021. There is a slight lag when changing songs from the steering wheel, and it does take my infotainment system a little longer to boot up, however I prefer not having to use it wired. There are many adapters out there which can be had for various price points on amazon and the like, I personally use the Carlinkit 5 wireless car play adapter. That said, I'm not endorsing any specific brand of adapter just sharing what I personally use. Is it perfect? no. Does it work for me? yes. Good luck.

Thank you for this information. I thought I was losing my mind when trying to set this up.
any delay/lag with this? is car play 60 fps? or 30 fps like wired
I’ve been using the 4.0 for a few years and it works just fine for our needs. I don’t know the technical specs on it and really don’t care as long as it works. I linked to the 5.0 model only because for $1 more than the 4.0 it seemed like a good deal. For $48 on the 4.0 it just made sense. For a dollar more for the 5.0 it makes even better sense. This is in my wife’s 22 RX. Won’t need one in my 25 NX when it gets here next week, hopefully.
