for reasons I wont get into, I need to stop the front passenger from opening the door. I know there are child locks in the back. What are options for front passenger?
if not I might have to take the door handle out.

 

I believe the front seats are meant for adults who can make their own decisions about door locks, so I guess you could disable the door handle. Just be ready to explain to authorities if you get in an accident etc, etc.

 

I just hope the OP doesn't have a dungeon in his basement.

Thought about it, and since this is the internet I feel I have to point out that my post is joking, since not everyone has a sense of humor. I can see legitimate reason, an adult with cognitive problems, etc.

There is no setting that would prevent the door from opening from the inside. Think about that.
