Hi, guys! A few days ago after I removed and installed back my radio unit I got a problem that climate control buttons and temperature displays aren’t working. Back light for the whole radio unit is also not working. Buttons for radio (like pwr/vol, radio, media, seek, track, tune) are working. Display is working fine, I can change the temperature on climate control, turn auto mode and everything else. Any ideas on what should I looking for? I have a 2017 RX350 F-Sport 3 with Mark Levinson sound system. Face ID for the unit is p11556
Also the passenger airbag light on the climate control panel is working.
I already checked all fuses, checked the connections to the unit multiple times.
When I check the system with the scanner it shows an error B15F9 Uart communication fault
Thank you everyone, I tried everything, disconnected battery a couple of times, again checked all connections but it doesn’t work. I’m just replaced my unit. So for now everything works.
I have a similar problem now, if I unplug the entire head unit, the issue fixes temporarily and the buttons work when I start the vehicle, but after shutting off the vehicle, the next time I start it the climate buttons are dead again until I unplug the head unit again. The unit is a colossal piece of **** btw, has given me varying problems since November. At this point I wish I never go rid of my 2010 RX 450H but the heating in that vehicle was terrible in the winter. I am not sure what plug/connection controls these buttons, or where the fuses are but at least I can still change the climate via the digital HUD
