Dropped my RX off Monday evening at the local dealer here in Tucson. I had a Tuesday 7am appointment for the radar realignment and a basic service. They gave me a '23 RX350 Luxury loaner with only 7k miles, so I was happy. Anyway, received a phone call early Tuesday and the technician said that my install of the new emblem, and reinstall of the radar, all looked great, and the diagnosis showed that the recalibration/alignment required was very minor. Basically, less than an hour labor and less than a hundred bucks! I was floored with the honesty! Got a few minor things done since it was there, and I was out the door at well less than $500. On the road now I once again have my reliable adaptive cruise.
So bottom line, is make sure you get the correct emblem for the radar-equipped system. You can do it yourself by removing the upper facia. Then plan on getting the system recalibrated. I don't mind paying to maintain my cars properly, but I am out $200 for a procedure that would have cost me $1200.
Car feels great, cruise works perfectly. These truly are some awesome machines. All that said, after driving the loaner, I asked them about selling it to me. They shot me a price that knocked my socks off, so I am now the owner of a CPO '23 RX350 Luxury, loaded to the hilt. Already have people calling about my 2017!
