I have a 2021 RX350 not a an F sport. If going down the highway in normal or eco mode at around 65 MPH a which is around 1700 RPMs, if then I switch to sport mode at the same speed the RPMs remain at 1700. If I pass a car the transmission downshifts a couple of gears depending how much accelerator is pushed. down. After letting off the gas to drive my normal speed, the RPMs in sport mode takes 15 to 20 seconds to start upshifting to normal cruising speed. After driving for a couple of miles in sport mode, the RPMs settled to around 2200. not the 1700 i was driving at originally. Is this normal in sport mode to do this? Shouldn't the tranny shift to the cruising gear even in sport mode, or am I missing something on how sport mode is supposed to work, Thanks
