My wife doesn’t want one on her RX but I have one on my Mustang. If you look carefully on your windshield along its edge, you will see a hash mark. That’s how far down it can come. Makes it great if you do much city driving where you have a lot of traffic lights. Now I don’t have to flip my visor up at every light to see when the light changes. The guy that tinted mine only charges $40 for the windshield strip.
Here is mine. Just make sure you sit in the car when the set the strip. It does help with that late afternoon sun in the upper portion of the window but other times depending on how you sit and where it hits your vision it can be annoying. If not down low enough it doesn't do much good, but if it splits your line of sight its kind of annoying. And anything less than 5% on a visor strip isn't worth it IMO.
