Default Preferred Fuel Cap

Looking for replacement fuel cap for my 2017 base. Coming up with three options that all say fit my car: Prefix 77300 and suffixes: 06090, 07040 and 53030. Any guidance on which is correct or best?

It looks like 77300-53030 is the right one. Here is the web page I looked at:

https://parts.lexus.com/p/Lexus_2017...730053030.html

Whichever you decide on, make sure they have a good return policy in case it doesn't work. Even if it fits the new cap could throw a check engine light.

Using VIN is best way to get the right part.

Look at the first digit of your VIN number.
The 07040 suffix refers to the OEM gas cap made in Ontario, Canada (your VIN number starts with a "2")
The 53030 suffix refers to the OEM gas cap made in Japan (your VIN number starts with a "J")

This information was gathered from Lexus of Orland Park, Illinois

5 dollars says either one will fit.

I just go to the dealer, tell them what I'm driving and buy a gas cap.
