Lexus app on iPhone misbehaving

Hello Everybody.
Today something very strange has been happening. I noticed around 2 pm that my Lexus app on the iPhone was showing me the status of my car as it was at 11 am. Throughout the whole day until now, the app tells me that my car is unlocked and the rear hatch is open. Closing the app, rebooting the phone and login out and back in did not help. It is 10:30 ish at night and my Lexus app is still stuck at 11 am and nagging me... Am I the only one? My Rx is 2020 with 43k miles and the original Enform subscription runs out on August 13th if that matters.

As of this morning, everything seems to be as expected. Enform app finds the car as always.

I wonder if Lexus hosts the service on AWS? AWS had a significant outage yesterday that affected many of their customers in one of their US East regions.

Could be! I just learned that the Kwikset door locks app was not working yesterday as well.

Yes they do. AWS is responsible for about half of the internet.

I should have searched before asking the sort-of rhetorical question. Lots of Toyota-on-AWS use cases can be found, including this one: Enhancing customer safety by leveraging the scalable, secure, and cost-optimized Toyota Connected Data Lake | AWS Big Data Blog (amazon.com). It mentions the Health Check Report and Driver Score that we see in the Lexus app, among other connected vehicle services.
