Hello,
Good day! I recently acquired a 2011 Lexus RX 350 from a friend. It has AFS with HID. I know that when I start the car it should level, move left and right then up down. I noticed that my driver's side light doesn't move up and down. It only moves left and right. I checked it and if move it by hand from left to right, there's a bit of resistance. But when I move it up, it just goes back down. This in not the case on the passenger side. The passenger side looks okay. I also notice looking at the light pattern on dark roads that the driver's side is noticeably lower. What could be the problem? Thank you in advance!!

Try these 2 old threads and maybe a search using the term AFS to learn more. However do you know if it was in an accident? That may have damaged the headlight. The links show ways to adjust it but you may have to get a used one with the AFS to make it work like it did before. eBay or Rancho used Lexus parts (google it) are your best places for used parts.
