Default Brake Light replacement

My passenger brake light is out on my 2010 Lexus RX 350. I thought I could just replace the bulb.but I was told at AutoZone and OReillys that they don’t have the bulbs but that I would have to buy a whole assembly at $250-$300. These are LEDs and I believe the adjacent turn signal bulb in non LED. How should I change these out? Is there a particular bulb that will work or do I just buy the assembly. Thanks in advance.

My understanding is that you do in fact have to replace the entire assembly. Each individual LED bulb is not replaceable.

For assemblies search/explore salvage yards or eBay.
