Hi. Are the plugs/wiring the same between all model years for third gen?
does Japanese build have any difference for tail lights?
looking to purchase 2013 tail lights for my 2011 RX and wondering about the plugs. thanks

The Japanese built of American built should be the same. To be safe stay with in the model year. You can search on line Lexus retailers [Lexus of Atlanta comes to mind] and see if the part numbers are the same. You can even call your local Lexus parts. The part department here in Austin is super friendly and helpful.

side note: There are lots of folks who work at dealerships because they love the work. Once they recognize that you are an enthusiast, you will find that they will go out of the way to help you. A fellow here spent considerable time to search out a measly OEM zip tie for me.
