Default Trouble starting

RX350 Trouble starting. I would push the start button and engine would die. I would try maybe 3 times .then it would kick in and run just fine, even after stop and restart. A couple times after pushing the start button it would just turn and not catch. I took it in and tech told me it read low voltage on the computer. They charged it up and it did fine for a week. Yesterday same thing. Any idea what might be happening?

Did you take it to a dealer? Did they test the charging system/battery, could be a dead battery. Or a bad Alternator if it’s not charging the battery and basically once the battery dies it’s game over.

How old is the battery?
Put a charger on it overnight and read the battery voltage with a voltmeter in the morning after it has sat for awhile - should read 12.4-12.5v.
If it's reading 12.0-12.2v the battery is not holding a charge and is going bad.
If it's reading 10-11v it has shorted cells and is bad.
Start the engine and read the battery voltage - should read 13.6-14.2v when alternator is charging, 13.2-13.5v after the battery has been recharged.
