Front Strut Install ISSUES - Bilstein B6
Ok my other question, because I have a crazy desire to lift my RX450 at some point, is does anyone see any reason why these wouldn't work with the Bilstein set up? https://risingtuning.com/lift-kits/product-898
My thought process is that lifting a car any degree will increase body roll due to raised center of gravity so the stiffer suspension will help offset that

I think Waitingconch refers to the glorified shock absorber chassis brace in post 50. Lexus installed it to make the chassis a bit stiffer, but negated that by installing a shock absorber in it to reduce vibrations. It does not do much of anything to make the rear stiffer and a trailer hitch is a better way to reinforce the rear chassis.
The part number listed in post 60 is just the bracket to hold the middle of the sway bar to the chassis. It fits over the rubber insulator and there are 2 of these brackets. The sway bars are the same on the regular and F-Sport models. The only difference is the F sport has stiffer struts & shocks and those chassis braces with shock absorbers in the middle. You really cannot add them to a regular RX as they mount to new holes in the chassis that do not exist on the regular RX and they do not do much to help handling.
Bilstein struts & shocks will help handling and I bet the Hard race bar will really help reduce understeer and improve handling. I am glad you found a place that has it in stock.

NickSP has not been on this forum in 4 years and is unlikely to respond and probably no longer has that vehicle.
Those Evan Fischer struts are probably some other brand re-labeled. I had never heard of them before that post.
If you want to save money just get some Sachs front struts from Rock Auto.

Made in mexico struts...
My Bilsteins on my '14 RX and buddy's Chrysler 300 were made in Mexico too, holding up and performing amazing. Better than China Amazon stuff for sure
The KYBs are made in Japan if anyone's wondering. I still prefer the B6's characteristics

I think the KYB's from rockAuto excelG and stuff are not made in japan
OK did the install last week and I have to say it was kind of a disaster. The bungie cords I had supporting the spindles slipped and my axle separated from the CV boot
and then when I went to do the other side the other axle separated as well just from me moving it around to get the struts in position
(( I have done suspension on many cars and never had this happen but oh well... My RX ended up getting new axles as well as shocks and struts, I also switched to the Sienna end links but I have to say they looked very similar in thickness to the stock ones and I doubt they make much difference but they were cheap and don't require the hex bit song and dance to get them out,
With all that being said, the car handles AMAZING with the bilstein B6's! its night and day. I used to bounce around and feel jostled going around even small corners, and the nose dive from braking and lift from accelerating.... this thing is so much more level and smooth, it feels like a whole new car.
I also threw some Kansei KNP wheels on it that look pretty sweet IMO. I'll try to get some pictures of it tomorrow. Thanks to everyone who figured out this swap was possible and to clutchless for responding to a 10 year old thread

What axles you put on the car?
I believe the brand is Trakmotive - my local autoparts store wanted $250 a piece and these were less than half that price so I sprung for them. I will link them below as well
