Front Strut Install ISSUES - Bilstein B6
Yes what OP bought will work. They will work someone with a 4th gen RX-Fsport did it recently using 2014-2019 Highlander front struts and rear shocks. I believed it’s called “Replacement suspension for F-Sport”. I don't know how OP couldn't get the struts on though as I used these same 2014-2019 Highlander struts on a 2010 RX350.

Thank you!
It look like this:
Mine has that too, seems like it is also an F-Sport option and mounts where the trailer hitch would go. I think the 4th gen F-Sports get one too but I could be wrong. I don't see or feel how it makes any significant difference, seems like an over-engineered frame brace. The sway bar bracket one is a lot cooler/more useful IMO. The overall extra weight of my RX350 F-Sport over my 2nd gen or a regular 3rd gen actually hinders the performance and makes it handle worse.

I know this is an older thread but im still confused. did you use all 2014-2019 highlander parts or did you have to use the front struts off a 2010-13 highlander like was mentioned above?
2014-2019 Highlander rear shocks, 2010-2013 Highlander front struts. You can use 2014-2019 Highlander front struts too as I've proved, but if you are going that route it is recommended that you get the correct 2014-2019 Highlander front strut lower isolators as well to match, or else aligning the spring is pretty tedious.

In my search for somewhere that has these shocks in stock I came across these pre-assembled front struts and I am wondering if the springs are going to work on an RX - https://www.suspensionlifts.com/shop...10-2013/?gQT=2
They are rather expensive - however if i factor in not having to buy and risk using a spring compressor or the cost of paying a shop to install them - its starting to make sense to me...thoughts?
Buying those overpriced coilovers is a waste of money. Plus they state those are OEM HIghlander springs which may be stiffer than RX springs.
.
It will be a lot cheaper to remove the front struts yourself and take them to a local independent shop and have them perform the spring compression and swap over. It should not cost more than $100 - $200.
Most have wall mounted commercial spring compressors that can quickly perform this job.
If you have not replaced struts before, note the alignment of the top mount to the car body as it has to be replaced in the same position for proper alignment. Make marks on the strut mount and take photos.
Call around to a few shops to find some that will do it and get quotes. I did this years ago on my 1994 Mazda MX-6 because my little spring compressor would not compress the springs enough (although it works on the RX). I think I paid $50 for both struts at the time.

Yeah that was plan aftering thinking it over. I've done struts a few times so I'm familiar with the process is just been a while. Both of my local shops won't perform work with customer supplied parts - which I think is pretty lame to be honest - but one of them did agree to swap the springs for me so I'm excited to do it myself.
Are you referring to the 3 bolt holes on top being aligned with regards to the body of the strut? Once the bolts are in up top there's only one way the bottom bolt holes line up with the knuckle no? OR are you referring to the spring alignment on the actual strut perch? I watched Viktor G's video on youtube and it seems pretty straight forward
for anyone curious I found the parts on https://jmautosports.com/ for approx $460 out the door and shipped

I am referring to the 3 bolts on top strut mount being aligned properly with the 3 holes in the car body in the same way they were originally. There may be a mark or some way to identify the position of the strut mount so you can note it when removing it and make sure the bolts go back into the same holes when putting it back together. I usually mark one of the bolts or the mount top with a Marker and also mark that hole on the car body and take photos.
The bottom 2 bolts only go into the knuckle one way.

A brand called Evan Fischer. They looked identical in every way to the originals and like it said, they were direct replacements. I paid 80 bucks for the full install and couldn't be happier for the ride. I see now the price has gone up to 137 on Amazon. The ride is definitely better IMHO. Ymmv.
NickSP has not been on this forum in 4 years and is unlikely to respond and probably no longer has that vehicle.
Those Evan Fischer struts are probably some other brand re-labeled. I had never heard of them before that post.

Did anyone end up getting the hardrace rear sway bar https://www.aleksracing.com/hardrace...20?@Cutchless? seriously considering picking one up but I want to know if anyone has feedback and if it's worth spending money on. Also very curious about the F sport specific rear stabilizer bar that was mentioned earlier with P/N 48832-48060 - when I search for that P/N I am only seeing results for a bracket and not for the bar itself
