I’m curious if this is normal or if an adjustment needs to be made somewhere.
I noticed the wiper arm sits a bit low and doesn’t go all the way up into the rear spoiler. Maybe somebody messed with alignment while trying to replace the wiper arm? Not sure.

I used this video as a reference of what I think it’s supposed to look like.
Some Lexus vehicles have a rest position of the wiper a detent away from normal .... usually for front wipers which can be moved up for freeze conditions [before glass heaters were introduced] ... this also helped in replacing the wiper inserts.
Just wondering if for tucked in rear hatch wiper blade, 3rd gen RX has that indent. Just gently push it to tuck it under and see if the arm clicks back.
Also, do you [OP] observe any issues on the far wipe angle? Does it bump into something? I expect it to be going further out.

[Still learning about 3rd gen]
Im gonna try that. I’m very familiar with the winter mode on the front wipers on both my ES’s, didn’t think about that but it’s a good idea. I’m gonna observe the full travel and do a video recording as well. Not my personal vehicle so kind of figuring it out as I go.
So there is no winter mode. I ran the wiper arm and realized it was hitting the spoiler on the other side. Loosened the 10mm bolt slightly and tucked the arm all the way in - problem solved. My guess is somebody pulled it down trying to replace the wiper blade. Thanks for your help!
