Default Rear seat problem

Purchased pre-owned RX350 2013
Navigation
Black on black
Sport model (I'm told)
My question is after laying the back seat down, it takes brute force to push the seat back up in a sitting position. What could be wrong?
I still have my RX350 2008 (246,000 miles) and pushing the back seat back up to sitting position is not a problem.
Thank you for your assistance.

There is a carpeted "gap cover" that extends from the cargo area carpet to the 2nd row seat back.
Normally flexes and is held with velco strips. Has this become mashed into the gap it is supposed to cover?
Also try moving the 2nd row seats forward by lifting on the horizontal bar under the front of each seat.

Hello and thank you for your guidance. I did find the gap cover that extends from the cargo area to the back seat. It was velcro'd in place as it should be and was not bunched up. I then moved the 2nd row seats forward, laid the seat down and for some reason it was a bit easier to bring it back up to sitting position. I had more room to grab hold and push the seat back up. It is harder than my 2008, but maybe the seats are heavier? Anyway, I will use that method, as it certainly does help. Thank you again !!!

Glad to help, The F-Sport option debuted for the RX in 2013. Most useful feature was the addition of
the 8 speed transmission which did not become standard on all RX models until the redesigned 2016.
Other F-Sport features were the dark "19 wheels and suspension upgrades.

Silver "19 were a free flow option on the RX 350 that were not F-Sports.
Enter your VIN here - https://drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrive.../vehicle-specs
