Default TRAC Light

hello, I have a 2013 RX350 base with 66900 miles that I purchased from a lexus dealer a little over a month ago. On three different occasions when I am at a complete stop and idling for a about minute and take my foot of the brake the TRAC light starts to blink and the RX won't move. It goes away rather quickly and then back to normal driving and has not happened more then once while driving on the same trip or day. Any ideas as to why this may be happening?

Thank you,
Marc

Hi Marc,

You may be pressing hard on the brake which would activate the hill assist feature. This allows you to lift your foot off the brake on a hill and depress the gas without the car rolling back. Your manual will most likely outline the feature in a bit more detail. Congrats on the great purchase!

Default Trac light flashing while vehicle is stopped

Hello, I know I am very late to this post but I am having the same issue with my 2010 Rx350. It seemed to happen when it was raining, but now it does it quite frequently. Have you had any luck on resolving this issue?

Does this help at all? If it's this than it's a feature not a bug.

I believe you are correct, I have heard from more than one person that pressing the brake pedal all the way down will engage the hill start feature. Thanks for the help!
