Hello Folks,
2015 RX 350, battery died and I replaced it myself with a non-Lexus battery. As expected, I lost all my saved settings, but have been able to reset the seat memory , radio stations etc.
The issue is appears to be that the AC is running when you turn the temperature to hot, so the heater blows cold. I saw on another thread to check the heater fuse, but I have no idea how to remove it to test. It appears to a red strip of multiple fuse as per the picture.
So my questions are,
1) Is there a rest procedure after battery is replaced for this?
2) Anyone know how to remove that red fuse strip to test?
3) Any other troubleshooting path I should be following?
Appreciate the help as it's the wife car, so I'm in trouble as she said we should of just brought it to the dealership...
Hello Again,
OK, so I found out that the passenger side floor blows hot, the driver side blows cold. So I read it could be the servo motor. I cannot figure out how to take the glove box out? Its a 2015, i only see two screws at the top, I don;t see the 10 MM nuts others describe. Any ideas?
Also, the display shows AC ON, even when temperature is set to high, is that right?
Thanks

This is a CarPlay install video, but it shows how to remove the glove box in a 2013-2015 RX350. The glove box part starts at about 3:45.
Most of these split HVAC systems have a dual climate control valve (sometimes called the DCCV). That component can fail and when it does, it sometimes causes one side of the cabin to get heat while the other side of the cabin gets A/C. You may want to google "dual climate control valve" and read up on the subject.
Thanks for both of your replies, I have been busy so haven't had a chance to look at the car. I hoping to get some time this weekend and will update the post.
