There was a bulletin back then about a low car battery reading that prevented the remote from working.
The battery actually had enough juice to start the car but the voltage reading was slightly below some
arbitrary threshold. It seemed to affect ES's more commonly than RX's but have your dealer check for
the condition.

I’m very sorry to tell you that the only way to get it to work is with a aftermarket kit. The reason being that 2010-2018 Lexus run on 3g network and the phone companies discontinued 3G, therefore the remote start, sos button, route guidance and much more simply don’t work anymore starting November 2022. It sucks… I’m sorry man.
