Hey gang. I’ve got a radar detector I’m wiring under the rear view mirror. It’s made by Blendmount. They’ve got a mirror tap kit, but I’m having trouble finding the ground wire and 12v on with ignition/car running wire. Wondering if any of you have done this mod or maybe have the wiring diagram for the mirror electrical from the svc manual? I’d still need to make sense of it if you had the diagram but at least that’s a start. I found two wires/ports that were powered with key off and start position, but when I turned the car on both lost power with it running, which I thought was odd.

Right now I’ve checked all the ports on the bottom/easily accessible row of ports on that connector block. The upper row is gonna be tough bc the wires coming out of the harness plug run right upwards to the roof, which of course covers the ports pretty well. Can’t seem to pull any slack from the roof on the wires either. If you have ideas on this too I’d love to hear ‘em.
