I have had this rx450h few months now. I want to change few settings. Manual says there should be vehicle customization menu in navigation system but I can't find it. Can anyone help me with this missing vehicle customization menu problem? I have try to find it in every mode but under setup/vehicle is only maintenance and lexus park assist. Do I have to go to lexus dealer to unlock this menu?

 

This is normally where the customization menu appears, at least on an English language display. Perhaps if your system is using a different region version of software, they did not provide it for whatever reason. The vehicle must be stopped to access this menu. I'm not aware of specific settings to enable or disable this particular menu option, but all the settable options should be available to the dealer. If you really want to be able to change settings on your own, you can look into finding a "Mini VCI" diagnostic cable or similar online to do it yourself. If that interests you, pay close attention to the requirements to use the cable.

 

Thank you for your reply! I think you are right about different region version of software. This RX is europe version and for some reason only lexus dealer have rights to change settings in vehicle customization menu. So I think easiest way is to go lexus dealer and let them change the settings I want to change.

A setting that was a dealer Techtool setting only even in USA is the Remote Window Rolldown & Key Window Rollup.
Try holding the key fob Unlock button while outside the car. After a couple of seconds all four (4) windows and
the sunroof may open. Slip the mechanical key out of the fob and insert into the driver's door lock cylinder.
Twist counter-clockwise (anti-clockwise?) and it will close any and all windows and sunroof.
Great for venting a hot car while approaching and for securing a car after you shut it off.

 

Hi, I just bought 2010 Rx 450h President. Alot of options like DAB are missing (even though it says on the button). Do you know how can I remove Map from the screen and the see the music information? or that is not possible as well?
