Default What should be done at 120k Miles

Hi,

We have 2013 RX350 and running like new , So far we are doing all the regular maintenance including differential fluids and new battery replacement done at 110k. Dealer is asking to get Spark plugs done since 100k but it is not due as per maintenance schedule. Coolant flush was due at 100k but dealer mentioned that no need to do it. We want to keep the car for very long term, I was wondering what should be done at around 120k to see if I should go to dealer or find local mechanic if item list is long.

Thanks

Just the usual oil and air filters etc.
If spark plugs were not done at 100,000 then they should be replaced. I stand corrected and know now the schedule for spark plugs is 120,000 miles. It is expensive as they must remove the intake manifold or the wiper assembly to get to them.
The coolant should also be changed.
I would change the transmission fluid if it has not been done in a while or ever.

Also the transfer case, but you probably did that when the differentials were done.

Change the brake fluid every 3 years per Toyota/Lexus recommendations.

The spark plugs are due at 120k.

Replace the coolant, it will help maintain the water pump. It should be cheap compared to the spark plugs, and there is no reason not to do it.

Get a few different quotes on plugs other than the Lexus dealer and you might save a couple hundred bucks. I have a regular mechanic and I got a quote under $400 vs over $700 at the dealer.

Thanks for all the information so looks like I should be doing following items:
Regular oil change
Air Filter and cabin air filter
Spark Plugs
Coolant
Brake Fluid
Steering Fluid?

Any place recommended to buy oem parts?

The power steering system in my wife's 2015 RX350 is electric, so no power steering fluid is utilized. Is that not the case in your 2013 model?

I would just go by the items listed in the owner's service manual.
Any additional item, I would just pencil in.

I hate skipping items as it throws the sequence off.

Check for Lexus/Toyota dealership which do e-commerce.

Dont forget to celebrate 100K of trouble free service.
