Default Differences between,2011 RX and a 2015 RX

I currently have a 2011 RX with 143k miles . Its been a very good car so far . I have gotten the bug to buy something newer
with less miles . I found a fair deal on a 2015 RX with 62k for about 25000. What kind differences could i expect?
It seems to be a little quieter and ride a little better .The seats even feel like they have more padding then my current RX .
What do you guys think ? Is there really much difference or am i just talking my self into a new car ?

i don't think there is enough of a difference to spend $25,000 on the same model
I would wait a year or two and get a Gen 4 for the same price and you gen 3 will only be worth a couple of grand less

I'd buy some bug killer and kill the bug. Takes - for me - about 3 weeks for it to go away. until next time. You are getting basically same car, with some cosmetics and maybe a gizmo or two more. Also, you are getting UNKNOWN reliability. You simply don't know. Good cars are keepers, you know.

I guess i didn't think about waiting to move up to a Gen 4 . We put quite a few miles on a year and thought if we get it up to 200k it would be worth very little . Maybe do what ukrkoz says and wait 3 weeks for the itch to go away and find something else to spend money on .

By that logic, any second hand car is unreliable? lol

People sell their cars for various reasons. Some do sell bc it is starting to show problems. But some sell just wanting to get something newer, faster, or whatever.

Then there are some will sell bc they HAVE TO, e.g., job relocation, expecting a baby and needed a bigger vehicle, lost job, divorce, health issues, move/moving to a congested metro area where parking charge is a premium (sometimes equal or more than the monthly car payments!!). Usually these circumstances are the best deals to buy if the car is in good shape.

I have a 2015 and love it, not sure of the differences between your 2011, but I drove a 2017 loaner the last couple of days and personally would not consider the Gen 4. The car felt bulky and I did not like the ergonomic layout at all. I know it takes time to get used to things though, but when I got back into my 2015 it felt a lot nicer.

Default 2010 vs 2015

I have both 2010 and 2015, but not 2011. Assuming 2011 is very similar to 2010, the major plus for me is the 2015 has the blind side monitor on the side mirrors. another feature that I did not like on 2015 is the CD changer is now DVD player which can house single disc.
Did not like the 4th generation for its look and longer body, due to my car garage size/arrangement.

2015 rides better.

Revised suspension and stiffer chassis. Worth the upgrade.

Do you mean the F Sport has a stiffer suspension? How does the 2015 have a "stiffer chassis."

the "chassis' of a car generally does not change within its generation.

unless you are talking about something specific (bolt on) structurally that Lexus added during its lifecycle. If so, what specifically?

If anything, possibly on an F sport model but even that i'd doubt. and especially for one model year of 2015.

either way OP i would vote keep your current car. that's a whole lot of money to waste on the same car. Spend $250 on a decent paint correction and clean the interior well and fall in love with your car again.

All the F Sports had a kind of cross chassis brace, but other than that I am not aware of any specific MY15 chassis stiffening.

more wielding spots on the 2013 model year, which improved the rigidity of the chassis. This is well known and published by Lexus.

Went through the Lexus press materials for the 2013 and do not see anything about it
