I have seen some threads related to this, but thought I'd post this as it isn't quite the same.
2013 RX450h. Audio turns on/off. No volume control at all. I looked at the sound screen and the tone controls are all in the middle and unable to be changed.
So, it sounds like the amp? Anyway to try resetting this before I buy a new one? Does it have to be the battery cable or is there a fuse I can pull?
If it has power then fuse is not the issue. I would try disconnecting battery and hope for a reset, but it could be either. Look in owners manual to find correct fuse. Fuse boxes are under dash by drivers left knee and in engine compartment. Key to fuses is always indicated inside cover.
You probably need professional diagnosis. Are you still under the warranty?
Not even close. Almost 150k miles.
It really gets worse. I'm in rural MO working at a nuclear station. The closest dealership is 2 hours away. "Less than ideal" situation.

The head unit has power but if these have external amplifiers (and I suspect they do), there could still be a blown fuse.
Where that fuse might be... I have no idea. Aftermarket amps often have fuses attached to them, but I doubt that's the case, here.
Everything is Lexus original equipment. It is the "Premium" sound. Not the Mark Levinson.
Check the manual for the fuse locations and if you're lucky, you'll find out where they stash the factory amps. I vaguely recall hearing about one being somewhere in the trunk panels.
Do you have navigation? If so, you should have that GIANT, separate manual pertaining to nav and navigation = stereo in these cars.
Try pressing the overhead "SOS" button. It is a subscription service you probably are
not paying for. When it is activated it takes over the microphone and speakers. It is
possible that it is now somehow interfering with your stereo. Press the button and you
should here the voice in the car say either "you have no service, for subscription information
press the button again" or you will get a live operator. Either way it may clear the system.
