passenger door problem
I have a '15 RX with 33000 miles. This car was a lease for two years and then sold as a CPO to the person I bought it from. all maintence has been done at the dealership. When we first got the car ( about 10 days ago) the passenger door opened and closed just fine. A few days ago, the door would not open from the inside. Would open from the outside just fine. When I activated the lock/unlock switch, the switch beside the door handle would mI've from lock to unlock, but the door would not open. I took it to the dealership today. Was told the cable inside the door had become unattached. Panel would have to be removed and cable reattached. Was told that work must of been done on door previously, as could not have came from the factory this way. Has anyone else had a issue like this on your car?

Easy to fix yourself if semi-handy with tools. Lots of videos and descriptions in link above, also how to source the part for cheap.

I would not necessarily believe them about work having been done on the door previously
