Default Rear seats won't fold down

The 2nd row seats wont fold down, pulling the handles in the trunk, doesn't feel like theres any resistance/anything is happening. Just wondering if anyone has had this issue before or knows how i could take apart the trunk liner to take a look at whats going on inside. Thanks

have you tried from the side? if it works from the side, rear leverage may be offline or clipped off?

Had the same issue with mine on the passenger side. Ordered a new cable before I took it apart. Found the cable has a coupler/joiner under the passenger side seat & the cable had simply slipped out. Put it back together & all is good. Side note: I now have a new surplus cable available should you have a need!
