What are the best "temporary" roof rail crossbars?
Hi all, what are the best "temporary" roof rail crossbars? What I mean by that is, I like the look of not having crossbars on my roof rack, but occasionally I will need crossbars, so I like the idea that I can install and uninstall crossbars when needed. Hopefully someone here has some good knowledge about this.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I looked into this a while back and found a few on Amazon that were compatible. The cost was not bad either. I cannot recall any specific product as I did not buy them. I installed a hitch instead to carry a bike rack and tow a kayak trailer.

I have come across fake (for looks only) slats being sold cheap.
I would suggest to stay away from cheap stuff. The push and some times the lift from moving vehicle can be very strong.
Once you get to the decision point that you have to put some money in it, you may like to look for application specific slats.
