Lighting issue

when I approach my 2015 RX 400h at night, the passenger side mirror glows, but the same is not true for the driver's side mirror.
is that the way it should be?

Probably not, but I think the RX forums would be able to answer this question better.

Most likely puddle light bulb is out. Disassembling the mirror should not be too difficult if it is similar to the 4GS. Hopefully someone can chime in.
