Can the newer model anti-collision side mirrors be installed on a 2010 450h?

 

I do not think that is possible. It is more than just mirrors. It includes additional hardware and software to make it all work and that would be expensive, difficult and probably cost prohibitive to install, if it was even possible. You should just get a newer model.

 

Took me a while to understand the question ,,, to confirm .. are you talking about blind spot monitoring?

If yes, then Clutchless has already given the answer.

Some folks really love this feature, while I am of the opinion that a well adjusted side mirror does not need the blind spot monitoring ... you can see the vehicle as clearly as the flashing icon. Fold away mirror would be more useful for me. YMMV.
