Default SRS Warning Light stays on

Ok, so I reclined the front passenger seat back too far and it triggered an SRS Warning light. Now the passenger seat belt light stays illuminated all the time and the passenger airbag light stays off all the time. Using jumpers at the OBD-II plug I get a "Code 32" indication. What is does Code 32 indicate, and how do I reset the Warning? The Lexus dealer wants $200 just to read the code (which they will credit if they perform the repair. This is a 2010 RX-350.

See if some independent import repair place will read the codes and check it out for less money.

Passenger occupant sensor. Put that seat all the way forward and look underneath. There is a sensor there; black one that has 2 leads into it. Make sure they are plugged in all the way. Just to be on the safe side, have your car off and unhook the negative battery cable so there is no power in the system and you don't set off a signal and then airbags. Seems like you probably just pulled the connection apart there.

Default SRS Airbag Warning Light B1865 (2013 RX 350)

my 2013 RX 350 has this SRS airbag warning light on for a while now. thought that it would go away because it was happening very random and not all the time. But now the SRS warning light is on all the time. have tried unplugging connecting beneath the passenger seat and also resetting it with Toyota Techstream but none of that worked.

want to check with the forum to see if anyone has any suggestions before bringing it into the dealership to have them check which will cost easily $200. I'm sure that they will want me to pay another $1000 to replace something.

Has anyone experience a similar issue with their RX or lexus? or suggestions on what I should be looking at?

Thank you,
