Seat materials
Hi All,
I recently purchased a 2015 RX350 with heated/ventilated/perforated seats. The seats seam like leather, but I'm wondering if they really are. I think that base models may have "cloth" seats....but I've never seen a RX (or any Lexus for that matter) with seats that don't look leather-like. To complicate matters - the car dealership write up of my car had no menton of leather other than the steering wheel, and no mention of premium seat materials (nuluxe?) Is there such a thing as a cloth-looking lexus seat that doesn't look like leather?
Are my seats leather if they look leather-like and I have the perforated heated/cooled seats.

A photo would be helpful. I think that fake leather also known as Nulux may have been a base option. I had it on my old CT200h and liked it. It did look and feel like vinyl. Note that all car leather is coated in urethane. Do not waste your time with leather treatment, just treat it like any other vinyl interior component for cleaning and protection. There is also a maintenance forum on this site with lots of data about the seats.

The heated and ventilated features were available on 2015 ES's with either NuLuxe as the option "HS"
or with leather in the Luxury Package "LL" or Semi-Aniline leather in the Ultra Luxury "UL" package.
Does your ES have the One-Touch Power Trunk opener? That would only have come with LL or UL
thus you have leather. Sign into Lexus Drivers and enter your VIN and get the original options list.

Okay, logged onto the site can you tell me how to get to the original options list from the site....all I see for VIN Lookup seems to be service and recall lookups.
