Default Small plastic tool on keyring magnet?

Just bought 2010 RX350. There is a small 2" ? tool, of some kind, on my keyring. It is 'T-shaped' and has a 'magnet' or 'button battery' on end. Driving me crazy! Lol

Did you buy it from a dealership that maybe has a large metal board in a back room with a gadzillion keys on it?
I saw a used car lot set up like that and the information written about each vehicle was quite revealing.
It would be much easier to 'shop the board' than walk the lot.

If it's not a magnet, it kind of looks like those key fobs to open doors or clock into places.

You know, I'm kinda hoping it's not a magnet off the big board at a used car lot.
Because they would always remove that from the keyring and reuse it.
If they didn't think to remove it that means they were pretty excited about something.

And when a used car salesman gets excited, that makes me nervous.

It did belong to the dealership. Something to help them keep up with keys. Thanks everyone!

NOW, I'm worried.

Might mean a devious something. Might not. Could just be a forgetful, distracted, or overly busy employee at the dealership.

They were distracted alright but, not so much the OP should be worried, we are only talking about a small keyring attachment.

My tale of woe is much worse.
I bought my new '15 in 2014.
I knew I would get reamed but, little did I realize how badly.
The salesman took pics of me in front of my new ride.
As I drove off they were day dreaming of the obscene profits they had just acquired.
To the point they had to chase me two blocks on foot to get their giant red bow off my roof.

Forgetful? Distracted? Indeed!
