Default Lexus Parts Exchange Program

I just had my local Lexus dealership order me a radio (unit) for my Lexus RX350 that died over a week ago (still have no idea nor does anyone know why this happened) under their exchange program.

The dealership asked for my VIN number; ordered the unit and will install. The unit comes with a 12 month warranty and will cost $699.00 and $150 to install.

Does anyone here have any experience with this exchange program?

thoughts?

I know I could order this radio/unit on eBay; Amazon, etc but I think I'll have piece of mind going through dealership being that they are local and manufacturer will warranty the unit.
